This position is one who displays a deep knowledge of Scripture and how it applies to the lives of students
This includes an ability to demonstrate a passion for ministering to students
The Teacher Aide must be a professing and maturing Christian enthusiastically supporting Valley Christian's Statement of Faith and mission statements
Display a deep knowledge of subject/grade and assist with teaching it from a Biblical perspective
Display the ability to connect Biblical truth to students lives
Demonstrate a passion for ministering to students through teaching, counseling, and mentoring
Assist the teacher in preparing lesson materials, grading papers, and managing the classroom
Assist in promoting student engagement to inspire learning capabilities of each student
Able to create a weekly schedule for Kids Club attendees
Assist with check-in and check-out processes for after school attendees
Supervise students on the playground and maintain a visual on all students
Implement playground rules
Plan and execute crafts, games, and activity centers for attendees
Assist with set up and breakdown of crafts, games, and centers
Able to create a weekly schedule for Kids Club attendees
Wipe down tables and counters
Secure doors and play areas
