You will need:
Passion, energy, and a genuine interest in working with children and young adults with autism and associated learning difficulties.
To be educated to Minimum GCSE level essential (pass in English and Maths required) or recognised childcare qualification.
Emotional and physical resilience to meet the challenges and demands of the role.
Experience of working with children and/or adults with special needs or with behaviours that challenge (desirable).
To be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
To be friendly, patient, understanding, empathic, caring and approachable.
To be IT literate and comfortable with using technology to record and update data.
A willingness to use public transport.
