A Teaching Assistant is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South London.
This will be a full time, long term Teaching Assistant post, with scope to go permanent.
Working hours at the school are 8am to 4pm for a Teaching Assistant.
Responsibilities for this Teaching Assistant role will include but not be limited to:
• Supporting identified students in 1:1, group or whole class situations
• Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified
• Leading small group sessions and interventions
• Attending to students' personal needs when required
• Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
• Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between £+0 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements

• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent
• Previous experience of working with children or teenagers
