Job Description
The programme pedagogy includes live sessions by SPJIMR core faculty/visiting faculty, videos explaining basic concepts, which can be viewed at student’s convenience, before the scheduled class, case analysis and discussions, simulations, tutorials and peer learning through group work sessions. A partner platform will be used extensively, for course delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Academic Role:
• Course related - Assist in preparation of course outlines, pre reads, ppts, other teaching aid required by the faculty. Also take informal feedback of the courses.
• Act as a point of contact between faculty and various program office to ensure all deadlines are adhered to regarding submission of course outlines, ordering of pre-reads such as cases, textbook etc., roll out and submission dates related to assignments
• Uploading the course outline and reading material
• Examination - Create, Conduct, Evaluate and share scores for quizzes, assignments & exam papers (under guidance from faculty)
• Assist faculty in resolving issues related to the revaluation requests from the participants regarding quizzes, assignments and end term answer papers.
• Student query - Handle student queries regarding assignments, end term, committee work, notes, etc.
• Assist the faculty in preparing the question paper, evaluating the answer sheets and finalizing the scores for the Special Field Exam.
• Finalize the scores in the examinations for the courses marked as “Assessment of Learning (AOL)”.
• Attending sessions and workshops
Research Role:
• Assist faculty in respective areas of research work
• Assist in academic research with responsibilities like preparing literature reviews, gathering and analyzing data.
• Any ad-hoc research related work
Administrative Role:
• Handle classes scheduling for the department faculty (internal & external)
• Assist in conducting events and conferences of the department
• Maintain attendance records
• Create zoom links for all sessions and share details via near calendar to faculty and students.
• Uploading time table and raising purchase orders on ERP
• Attend department related meetings and briefings
Education Qualification
Minimum Post Graduate in Marketing mandatory
Doctoral degree preferred
Previous Experience
2 – 5 years’ experience in an academic set up
Skills/Capabilities Required
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
• Proficiency in Excel preferred
• Good communication skills (oral & written)
• Positive attitude towards learning & open-minded
• Good follow-up and people management skills
• Data Compilation, Analysis, and Presentation
• Report Writing Skills
• Meeting strict deadlines
