This is a unique opportunity to work at a hosptial school supporting learning on/ near hospital wards with a class teacher guiding learning across a tailored curriculum.

The Role - Teaching Assistant

This Teaching Assistant role is based within a hospital school supporting vulnerable young people with their education, supporting them not to fall behind with their education whilst admitted to a hopsital setting.
• Class support
• Aiding the teacher
• Adapting work / lessons where possible
• Setting up activities
• Working directly with the student/s
• 1:1 and small groups
• Covering core subjects
• Safeguarding and creating an engaging and safe place
