Key Responsibilities Of a Teaching Assistant
• The Teaching Assistant should assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the individual needs of students.
• Foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment, promoting independence and confidence.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to implement tailored support plans for students
• The Teaching Assistant should maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour, contributing to comprehensive assessments and reports.
Requirements Of a Teaching Assistant
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
• Strong Secondary Level experience
• A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a patient and empathetic approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
• Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in different educational settings.
