Job Description
Class teacher deliver the Gymboree Play & Music syllabus, teaching children aged newborn to 5 years alongside their carers in our bright, colourful, safe playroom with purpose-built equipment, props, songs and activities. Full training on-site will be provided in order to deliver our classes to our high standards.
Applicants should be outgoing, friendly and comfortable being the focus of the room. A performing arts background and pleasant singing voice is beneficial but not essential.
When not teaching, class leaders undertake administrative duties liaising with members, enquiries and helping run the business on a day-to-day basis. Experience using Excel, Word and email is essential and training will be provided on our class management software. Applicants should also be comfortable “selling” the Gymboree Play & Music brand to help recruit new members.
Cleaning is an essential part of the role as we work together to keep the site and props clean safe for children and adults in order to provide a safe play space for everyone.
Current hours available are full time or Part-time positions. Training is required for the role, so an quick start date is preferred if the right candidate is found in time.
