Mayo College initiated its Mayo Fellowship Programme in 2017, providing a platform for talented graduates and postgraduates to refine their skills as aspiring educators early in their careers.
The Program offers enrichment in the following areas:
• An opportunity to gain a foothold in the ethos of education before taking up full-time responsibilities.
• Teaching Learning Process integrated with highly advanced IT infrastructure.
• Exposure to a varied range of over 20 sports activities, gaining valuable experience and honing skills in sports management.
• Exposure to a varied range of co-curricular activities/ hobbies fostering personal growth and cultivating a diverse set of interests.
• On job training experience to Residential School life and understanding of pastoral care role in a Boarding School.
• Fellows have the chance to experience National and International level events gaining exposure to diverse cultural and professional contexts.
Important Aspects of Fellowship:
• Commences in July and concludes in April every year.
• Fellows are entitled to a fixed stipend, boarding, and lodging facilities on campus.
• Fellows are provided an in-depth analysis covering all the facets of boarding school activities
