Position: Team Lead in Travel Sales

Summary:
As a Team Lead in Travel Sales, you will play a crucial role in leading and motivating a team of sales professionals within a travel company. Your primary responsibility is to drive revenue and ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for providing guidance, training, and support to your team members to help them achieve their sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
Lead and inspire a team of travel sales professionals to achieve their sales targets and KPIs.
Develop and communicate sales strategies and goals to team members.
Monitor and report on team performance, making data-driven decisions to improve sales outcomes.
Sales Training and Development:
Provide ongoing training and coaching to your team to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
Identify areas of improvement for individual team members and create development plans.
Customer Service:
Ensure that the team provides excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Lead by example in delivering top-notch customer service.
Sales Support:
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to support the sales team's efforts.
Assist team members in handling complex or escalated customer cases.
Reporting and Analysis:
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare regular reports for management, outlining team performance and areas for enhancement.
Sales Strategy:
Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
Provide input and feedback on pricing, promotions, and product offerings.
Administrative Duties:
Manage team schedules, work assignments, and performance evaluations.
Handle administrative tasks related to sales, such as inventory management and order processing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, hospitality, tourism, etc.) preferred.
4-6 years of experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a sales role is a significant advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in using sales and CRM software.
In-depth knowledge of the travel industry, including destinations, products, and services.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills
