Team Lead | Software Engineering

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Team Lead for Software Development. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in API development, MS SQL, .NET framework, and Angular, along with proven experience in team management. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, driving the technical direction of projects, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Key Skills: .Net Framework, .Net Core, Angular, MS-SQL, Restful API, Team Management Key Responsibilities • Technical Leadership: • Provide technical guidance and leadership to a team of software developers. • Define and drive the technical architecture and design of software solutions. • Review code, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the team's technical capabilities. • Technical Expertise: • Hands-on development using .NET framework, MVC framework, Angular, and other relevant technologies. • Design, develop, and maintain APIs, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability. • Develop and optimize MS SQL databases, including writing complex queries and stored procedures. • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related front-end technologies. • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. • Experience with data intensive applications • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define user stories, and deliver solutions that meet business needs. • Team Management: • Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. • Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations for team members. • Coordinate with project managers to allocate resources, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of projects. • Identify training needs and facilitate skill development opportunities for team members. • Quality Assurance: • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. • Conduct thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. • Collaborate with QA teams to resolve issues and ensure software meets quality standards and requirements. • Communication and Collaboration: • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences, to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns. • Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables. • Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. • Mitigate risks, anticipate challenges, and proactively address issues to ensure successful project outcomes. • Document technical designs, specifications, and implementation details for reference and knowledge sharing. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • Proven experience (6+ years) in software development, with expertise in API development, MS SQL, .NET framework, and Angular. • Previous experience (2+ years) in a leadership or management role, with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring teams. • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and DevOps practices. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD), PMP, Scrum Master) preferred.
