IT Tech Lead – Node.js, React, AWS

As we expand our footprint, we are looking for a talented IT Tech Lead to join our New Delhi satellite office and collaborate closely with our Toronto headquarters and global enterprise clients.
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on IT Tech Lead with deep expertise in Node.js, React.js, and AWS architecture. This role requires someone who can lead technical direction, build high-quality systems end-to-end, and architect secure multi-tenant enterprise applications. You will work directly with the Toronto team during EST hours to support project execution, client deliverables, and production systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead technical architecture, design, and implementation for enterprise-grade platforms.
• Build, maintain, and optimize backend systems using Node.js and responsive frontend interfaces using React.js.
• Architect and manage AWS infrastructure including S3 Buckets, Lambda, EC2, CloudFront, RDS, VPC, IAM, and related services.
• Develop secure, scalable multi-tenant SaaS applications with strong data isolation and enterprise compliance.
• Implement robust security frameworks, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and best-practice hardening methods.
• Oversee development workflows, code reviews, and engineering standards for a small, high-performing team.
• Collaborate daily with the Toronto team in EST hours to ensure alignment with product roadmaps and client requirements.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and automated testing frameworks.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure system reliability.
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development with Node.js and React.js.
• Strong experience architecting and deploying solutions on AWS (S3, IAM, VPC, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining tenanted / multi-tenant enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of security best practices, secure API design, identity management, OWASP standards, and data protection.
• Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Prior experience leading or mentoring small engineering teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an agile, delivery-focused mindset.
• Ability to work full-time on EST (Toronto) schedule.
Nice-to-Have
• Experience with DevOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with fintech applications, ERP platforms, or workflow automation systems.
