Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 7 years of professional software development experience or 5 years with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a technical related field.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Responsibilities
• Lead advance technology powering YouTube Shopping product and features being built from Bengaluru.
• Drive the technical strategy for YouTube Shopping, defining how the technology should evolve to meet product needs, leverage new technologies, and support developer innovation and velocity.
• Work on technical problems in diverse domains, ranging from AI and ML, offer search ranking and quality, payments, browsers, trust and safety, infrastructure, feature development, and developer experience.
• Define a technical roadmap, collaborating with managers, PMs, and TPMs to lay out the system architecture and prioritize work items.
