Tech Lead(Java Developer)

Role profile:

A Tech Lead is a senior-level technical member, who not only possess strong Software development skills but also demonstrates leaderships skills. Tech Lead acts as bridge between Business Analyst and other development / support teams.

Role summary:

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, modernizing and maintaining our applications to ensure efficiency, performance, scalability and reliability.

What you'll be doing:
• Provide technical direction and prioritise work for the junior team members.
• As a lead, you will be responsible for owning multiple applications' end to end, interface with support teams, give them directions etc
• You will mentor junior team members, allocate work, interact with stakeholders on regular basis
• Actively participate in project planning and Agile/Scrum ceremonies to analyse requirements and estimates of work.
• Work in cross-team modules on new & improving existing features in accordance with agreed upon specifications provided by business along with bug fixes.
• Experience in prioritising multiple requirements at a time.
• Provide quick resolution to production issues. Should be able to think through problem statement and come up with long term fixes.
• Awareness on industry standard methodologies and latest development and design principles would be a desired value addition.
• Provide efficient and accurate status updates for scope of work assigned.

What you'll bring:
• Expertise in Java, Spring, Servlet, JSP, HTML, Javascript, Typescript REST API
• Strong expertise in SQL/PLSQL
• Understanding of shell script, Unix/Linux, Windows, CI/CD process, networking
• Flexibility to learn new technologies or programming languages as the need arises by the project and find opportunities for improvements.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies like Azure along with hands on experience on cloud migration and support
