Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Analyst at Workassist in Hyderabad. The Technical Analyst will be responsible for technical analysis, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and effective communication within the organization.
Market Analysis:
• Conduct in-depth technical analysis of the Indian stock market, including equity, derivatives, and other financial instruments.
• Utilize various technical indicators, chart patterns, and oscillators to identify trends, reversals, and trading opportunities.
• Analyze historical price movements and volume patterns to forecast future market behavior.
Trading Strategies:
• Develop and implement trading strategies based on technical analysis to maximize returns and manage risk.
• Perform back-testing and forward testing of trading strategies to evaluate their performance and robustness.
• Adjust and refine strategies based on market conditions and feedback.
Reporting:
• Prepare and present detailed market analysis reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly updates, to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Create visual aids such as charts, graphs, and tables to support analytical findings.
Market Monitoring:
• Monitor and interpret market news, events, and economic data to assess their impact on market trends.
• Assess and manage risks associated with investment strategies, including volatility, liquidity, and market fluctuations.
• Implement risk management techniques and stop-loss mechanisms to protect client portfolios from adverse market movements.
Continuous Improvement:
• Continuously enhance technical analysis techniques and tools through research and development.
• Attend industry conferences, seminars, and training programs to stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies.
