Senior Technical Architect- Snowflake
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Experience: 12-15 Years
Must Have
• Snowflake Schema
• Big Data
• Data Engineering
• Snowflake using combination of Python, PySpark, Bash with SnowSQL.
• Implementing data management solutions
Requirement
• 8+ years of experience implementing data management solutions
• Expertise in Snowflake concepts like setting up Resource monitors, RBAC controls, scalable virtual warehouse, SQL performance tuning, zero copy clone, time travel and automating them.
• Experience in handling semi-structured data (JSON, XML), columnar PARQUET using the VARIANT attribute in Snowflake.
• Experience in in re-clustering of the data in Snowflake with good understanding on Micro-Partitions.
• Experience in Migration processes to Azure & Snowflake from on-premises database environment.
• Experience in designing and building manual or auto ingestion data pipeline using Snowpipe.
• Experience in Cloud technologies such as Azure Azure BLOB, access management on Azure VM's
• Design and Develop automated monitoring processes on Snowflake using combination of
Python, PySpark, Bash with SnowSQL.
• SnowSQL Experience in developing stored Procedures writing Queries to analyze and
transform data.
• Certified Snowflake cloud data warehouse Architect
Responsibilities
• Lead and Architect migration of enterprise on-prem data environment to Snowflake with performance and reliability.
• Lead cross-functional, cross-organisation initiatives that drive innovative solutions on Snowflake.
• Act as conduit between client and our delivery team to ensure program delivery is aligned with target state architecture and guiding principles.
• In depth understanding of Snowflake Architecture including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Snowpark, performance tuning, compute, and storage.
• Management and communication skills, including prioritising, problem solving and interpersonal relationship building.
