• Designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance database systems using PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and open-source platforms

• Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and database management
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in database engineering or production DBA role
• Expert-level knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and cloud computing platforms
• Strong understanding of database monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Data Administration Lead to join our team at Interface Recruitment UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical knowledge of the membership database within the business, completing major configuration changes in line with new initiatives and set-up.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn and implement technical information quickly. They will also have strong communication and time management skills, with the ability to manage numerous projects while remaining calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
• To build a working knowledge of membership management systems.
• To maintain configuration within the membership system to ensure it meets the needs of the business and its members.
• To support the roll-out of new configuration within the system.
• To investigate and troubleshoot anomalies.
• To manage department queries.
• To keep accurate and up-to-date records of all configuration changes.
• To complete weekly and monthly processes such as audit clubs and access, review current and new extracts from membership data base (MDB) in order to enhance and accommodate new development.
• To compile data necessary for analysis from the membership system.
• To support with new configuration requirements for ongoing business initiatives.
• To test new system features such as; SOAP UI to test API calls, testing functionality of products and developed extracts.
• To maintenance of subscription changes, product and pricing implementation and account set up.
• To managing department queries (Zendesk) within 3 working days.
• To provide Training and support.
• You will be required to complete on-call hours (24/7) once, every four weeks as part of a Rota.
• Any other ad hoc duties.
