As a DB Devops Engineer at Ifintalent Global Private Limited, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our data infrastructure and driving innovation. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain scalable databases that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
We're looking for someone with a strong background in database administration, engineering, and DevOps practices. You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure seamless database operations, optimize performance, and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale databases using relational and non-relational database technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline database operations and improve efficiency.
- Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of database infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate database tasks and improve productivity.
- Troubleshoot complex database issues and provide root cause analysis.
Requirements
- A BE/BTech/equivalent degree with relevant experience of 6 to + years.
- 6 to + years of experience as a DBA, Database Engineer, or similar role.
- Expertise in multiple relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL & MySQL.
- Cloud certification(such as AWS / GCP cloud certification) is highly desirable.
- Experience with related cloud technologies: Docker, Spinnaker, Terraform, Helm, Jenkins, GIT etc. Exposure to zookeeper fundamentals & Kubernetes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies such as RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, IAM, EC2, S3, CLI, SDK, or equivalent cloud services.
- Exposure and deep understanding of non-relational database technologies as well as preferable Hadoop, HDFS, or equivalent technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and experienced with Production Incident Management / Root Cause analysis.
- Experience with important distributed systems service, including supporting Database Production Infrastructure with 24x7x365 support responsibilities.
- Exposure to a fast pace environment with large scale cloud infrastructure setup.
- Proficiency in coding in UNIX shell and SQL, and at least one procedural language such as Python, Ruby, Java, Perl, and C++.
- Have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and excellent speaking-listening-writing skills, attention to detail, proactive self-starter.
