Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Fashion Designer with 3-4 years of experience in garment construction and fit. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality designs that meet the brand's vision and customers' needs. Key Responsibilities: • Create technical design packs, including detailed sketches, measurements, grading, and construction instructions for production teams. • Conduct fit sessions, provide recommendations for fit corrections, and ensure garments meet desired aesthetic and functional standards. • Collaborate with patternmakers to ensure patterns align with technical specifications and brand fit guidelines. • Work with sourcing teams to choose appropriate fabrics and trims that align with the brand's aesthetic and performance needs. • Analyse pre-production and production samples, ensuring they meet quality and design expectations. • Stay updated on the latest garment construction techniques, fit technologies, and industry trends to continuously enhance product quality. Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, or a related field. • 3-4 years of experience as a technical designer, with a strong background in garment construction and fit. • Technical skills include proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D, or Optitex), knowledge of patternmaking and grading techniques, expertise in garment construction methods and materials. • Meticulous approach to fit, measurements, and garment specifications. • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues in garment development and production. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical details effectively.
