Job Description
We’re building a real-time operating system for high-volume bars and nightclubs.
Venues generate most of their revenue in a few peak hours — but make decisions without live visibility into what’s happening inside.
We connect:
• POS systems (sales data)
• In-venue sensors (foot traffic)
• Historical + live data
Then turn it into real-time, predictive operational decisions.
We are already working with design partners and moving toward initial deployments in Atlanta.
What we are solving
• Real-time data ingestion from multiple sources
• Mapping sales ↔ foot traffic ↔ behavior
• Generating decisions under time constraints (minutes, not hours)
• Building systems operators rely on during peak revenue windows
The Role
You will work directly with the founders to own and build the core system.
• Improve and extend existing backend architecture
• Build and optimize real-time data pipelines (streaming / near real-time)
• Integrate with external systems (POS, sensors)
• Structure data models for decision-making
• Debug, refine, and scale current ingestion + data systems
• Iterate quickly based on live deployments
This is a high-ownership role
What we are looking for
• Strong technical foundation (CS, Engineering, or equivalent)
• Has built real systems end-to-end
• Comfortable with backend systems, data pipelines, and APIs
• Can operate independently and learn quickly
• Interested in building something long-term
• Machine learning skills
• AI integration skills
Preferences
• UGA / Georgia Tech / local to Athens or Atlanta
• Interest in early-stage startups
