Job Description
Major Functions/Responsibility
• Manage local network and system engineers, including mentoring, coaching, timesheets, and other HR related paperwork
• Technical Lead for Network Operations team
• Handle escalated cases and customers
• Support and Maintain Global Network across private and public clouds
• Follow Network Architecture standards
• Operational level support and configuration on network infrastructure device
• Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers, ALB/ELBs, Gateways, Security Groups
• Operational level support and configuration of;
• VPN (IPSec & SSL)
• OSPF and BGP routing protocols
• VLANs, 802.1q, 802.1x, STP, VRRP, HSRP
• Load Balancing, security, firewall policies
• Participate in Incident, Problem, Service and Change Management
• Work with Problem Mgmt team on Root Cause Analysis
• Create and Maintain documentation
• Participate in on-call support rotation
• Communicate in an effective and professional manner with internal and external customers
• Follow company policies and procedures always
• Communicate in an effective and professional way with customers in and outside of inContact.
Requirements :
• 6+ years of proven work-related experience is required in configuration of Ethernet technologies, Routers and routing protocols of OSPF and BGP.
• Systems administration experience is a plus
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP
• Experience configuring IPSec VPN
• Experience configuring Routers/Switches
• Understanding of public cloud technologies
• Understanding and experience with load-balancing technologies
• Experience working with firewalls
• Packet capture and analysis
• Cisco
• Juniper
• Palo Alto
• Arista
• Brocade/Foundry Networks
• F5
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field "or" equivalent work experience required.
