Job Description:
As a Technical Product Owner at Truemeds, you will be at the forefront of our product development efforts, responsible for shaping and guiding the technical aspects of our products. You will act as a bridge between the business and development teams, ensuring that our products align with our business goals and meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it contains clear and actionable items for the development team. Independently analyzing business needs, defining, and creating business software use cases and granular user personas and stories in conjunction with Product Managers. Research and update of the solution-defined use cases/user scenarios in collaboration with other POs across the business flow (not limited to a single function).
User Story Creation: Define and document detailed user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria for development sprints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and quality assurance, to ensure that the product is developed according to specifications and within deadlines.
Feature Prioritization: Make data-driven decisions on feature prioritization, ensuring that development efforts align with business objectives.
Product Demos: Organize and conduct product demos to stakeholders and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Release Planning: Work with the development team to plan and schedule product releases, making sure they are delivered on time and with high quality. Conduct operational readiness activities in support of release and new product launches including but not limited to assisting in the development and delivery of product documentation and training materials as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and proactively address them to minimize disruption to the development process.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that the final product meets quality standards and user expectations.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Proven experience interpreting user needs and writing or editing use cases and user stories for new systems, systems changes or system enhancements.
• Bachelor's degree in either Computer Science, Engineering or Business.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
• Knowledge in software/content development domains, including programming algorithms, programming languages (Java, Javascript), software architecture, applications (back-end, front-end, middleware), visualizations, CI/CD, DevOps, cloud services, software testing/quality assurance, or related areas
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Must be comfortable and capable of creating and presenting complex ideas and technical solutions and leading teams and workgroups.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Jira).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of software development processes and best practices.
