Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available systems from scratch or evolve existing platforms with modern best practices.
• Oversight of the technical vision and roadmap for critical platforms and applications, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Evaluation and selection of design patterns, architectural styles, and integration strategies that fit the project context.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define effective technical strategies.
• Creation of architecture blueprints, high-level and low-level design documents, and oversight of their successful implementation.
• Drive technical quality, performance optimization, and scalability improvements across the application stack.
• Guidance on coding, reviewing pull requests, and debugging production issues as needed.
• Partnership with DevOps to define CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and logging strategies.
• Evaluation of new technologies, frameworks, and tools, and championing innovation within engineering teams.
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 4+ years in a technical/solution architect role.
• Hands-on knowledge in backend: Node.js, Python (Flask, FastAPI, Django), frontend: React.js / Angular, database systems: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, cloud: AWS / GCP / Azure.
• Deep understanding of system design, software architecture principles, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Solid knowledge of microservices, monolith-to-microservice transitions, and API Gateway patterns.
• Strong understanding of DevOps tooling and practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Expertise in scalability, availability, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience in solutioning complex business problems with clean and maintainable technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
