Job Description
• Partner with product managers and product owners to understand business needs and develop architecture patterns and blueprints that can be built by the engineers.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for designing and building application architecture and components.
• Contribute actively to the Cloud practice or delivery projects as a Cloud architect.
• Own and drive business and technology conversations along with customer architecture group and assist them.
• Create, present, and deliver data and platform solutions & roadmaps.
• Mentor and guide the CPP Engineering teams on overall solutioning, architecture, and delivery.
• Help build a culture of learning and innovation with a focus on learning new technologies/practices and spearheading adoption within the organization.
• Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in technology communities and act as an internal mentor to users of these platforms.
• Provide deep technical expertise and leadership across a range of technologies. You will be the go-to person for driving tool selection, resolving complex engineering issues, and guiding best practices during engagements.
• Handle responsibility in the capacity of SPOC for all cloud and DevOPs related
projects within the organization.
Required Candidate Profile
• Overall 15+ years of experience working in IT.
• About 10 years as a Cloud solution Architect (AWS is a MUST).
• At least 5 years of CI/CD experience with Jenkins and cloud deployment technologies.
• Technically hands-on experience on AWS Managed Services (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS)
• Experience and knowledge on Kubernetes platform.
• Excellent understanding of cloud computing concepts including but not limited to microservices, containerization, DevOps etc.
• Excellent knowledge of cloud native computing technologies and current computing trends.
• Ability to effectively address NFRs with most suitable cloud/open-source services available.
• Expertise in preparing solution, deployment and security architecture on one or more cloud service providers.
• Strong understanding of container technology (Docker), container architecture, deployment patterns (single/multi-container)
• Architecture development experience across Business, Application, Data and Technology domains
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Experience of leading major strategic business and IT transformation programs
• Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
• Proven track record of mentoring team in adopting new technologies.
• Working with vendors to enhance tool capabilities to meet enterprise needs.
• Extensive experience in Docker files, images, containers & Registry
• Experience with collaborative version control systems (Git/ GitLab)
• Experience with CI/CD technologies such as Artifactory, SonarQube .
• Expertise in Git Branching strategy
• Create design documents that ensure consistency in development across the IT organization.
