About the role
Are you passionate about technology and the future of mining operations? Orica Mining Services is on the lookout for a Field Support Technician to join our dynamic New Zealand Team based in either the North or South Island, operating mostly on 7 days on/7 days off rosters.

What you will be doing
You will deliver onsite and remote technical support for Mobile Manufacturing units (MMU) process equipment, Underground Hypercharge™ units and fixed assets.
Perform scheduled servicing, repairs, alterations, and breakdown maintenance;
To coordinate and complete Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMU) including Underground Hypercharge™ unit audits;
Ensure compliance with SAP PM and statutory requirements;
You will support local Site Supervisors, Fitters, and service contractors;
Advise on critical spares management and implement productivity improvements;
You will act as first point of contact for Hypercharge™ breakdown support and drive its implementation at customer sites;
Build strong relationships with customers and promptly address queries and maintenance requests.
What you will bring
A strong customer service mindset to support our operations and to ensure timely, accurate and professional service delivery;
An Engineering Certificate, Diploma, or Trade Certificate;
Minimum of 5 years in plant engineering or maintenance;
Security clearance eligibility;
Strong technical knowledge and personal management skills.
