GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the DHM-Diesel Equipment Tech department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
Serve as Lab Assistant for Diesel Technology Department
Develop, revise, maintain current inventory and keep track of all lab suppliers, equipment and materials
Set up lab activities and help deliver an exceptional hands-on lab experience
Maintain order and discipline
Help test and evaluate student progress in the lab
Assist instructors and department head in developing lab activities that help meet course objectives and improve overall student performance
Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma
Excellent communication and human relation skills
The ability to challenge and motivate
Must be well organized and unbiased
Must be capable of maintaining an atmosphere that fosters learning
Must possess a valid South Carolina drivers's license
The ability to lift 50-100 pounds
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Certificate in Diesel Technology • Three (3) years of work experience in the diesel repair field • ASE Certifications
