Summer ESL Teaching Role (Face-to-Face – Not Online)
Start Date: July 7th for 2 + weeks (potentiallly up to 5 weeks)
Duration: Minimum 2 weeks
Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:10 PM (plus potential for additional hours)
Requirement: Teachers must be on-site by 8:45 AM
Additional Opportunities: potential Extra hours available as an Activity Leader, leading city tours and cultural experiences for students

About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and engaging ESL teachers for an in-person teaching opportunity this spring. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about creating interactive, student-centered learning experiences and who enjoy introducing students to local culture.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality English lessons using an integrated skills curriculum and the communicative method
Teach weekday Intensive ESL classes to international students
Maintain accurate lesson plans, attendance records, and student progress reports
Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment
Provide exceptional student support and customer service
Arrive at the school by 8:45 AM to prepare for class
Lead cultural activities (optional extra hours), including:
Walking tours of Toronto
Excursions to cultural and historical sites
Student social events and local experiences
Essential Qualifications
TESL Certification (with practicum component) OR CELTA (only candidates with these qualifications will be considered)
Bachelor’s Degree
Legal eligibility to work in Canada
Strong interpersonal skills, energy, and flexibility
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of ESL teaching experience in a similar context
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $25.00 per hour
