Join Concorde Education as a Part-Time After-School Dance Educator, where you can inspire students through the art of dance! In this fulfilling role, you'll lead engaging enrichment classes designed to help students discover new interests while developing essential skills such as rhythm, coordination, and creative expression.
As an instructor, you will facilitate fun, energetic dance sessions for students. Classes usually meet once a week for approximately one hour, but you can expand your schedule by teaching multiple programs based on your availability.
Our goal is to provide high-quality after-school programs led by passionate individuals who can cultivate confidence, teamwork, and performance skills in young dancers. You will utilize structured lesson plans while adapting activities to meet the diverse needs and interests of your students.
Possible Class Topics:
• Hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, or cultural dance styles
• Rhythm, musicality, and movement coordination
• Basic dance technique and foundational steps
• Choreography and group dance routines
• Creative movement and improvisation
• Dance performance skills and stage presence
• Preparing short routines for demonstrations or school events
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engaging after-school dance sessions for students.
• Teach choreography and movement techniques through structured activities.
• Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment.
• Encourage creativity, confidence, and teamwork among students.
• Coordinate with school staff and Concorde program contacts.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 60 college credits completed.
• Experience in dance instruction, choreography, or performance.
• Background in working with youth (schools, studios, camps, or after-school programs).
• Strong communication and group facilitation skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.

Daytop Preparatory School
Daytop Prepatory School, located in Huntington, NY, is seeking a high school teacher assistant for grades 9-12 in a SpEd co-teaching model.
