The role

We’re looking for a motivated Test Analyst to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

We're growing rapidly and embracing technology to achieve our connectivity business goals. This role will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by taking ownership of testing activities across projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and API testing, meticulous planning and estimation skills, and a proactive approach to learning automation. This role requires the ability to work autonomously while delivering efficient testing deliverables.

Responsibilities

Risk identification and mitigation through robust test planning, analysis, and accurate work/resource estimation.
Defining the scope of testing required for individual items and overall releases.
Writing and executing detailed test scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Developing and enhancing a suite of regression test cases and a test library to encourage effective reuse.
Conducting thorough manual testing, with a strong focus on API testing, to validate functionality, performance, and integration.
Supporting the business throughout the UAT process and overall UAT management as required.
Identifying opportunities to continually enhance and improve our test capability.
Qualifications and experience

7+ years of strong testing experience, with a focus on manual and API testing.
Proven experience in meticulous planning, estimation of work activities, and managing testing deliverables.
Experience working across core platforms.
Appropriate and relevant IT industry qualifications, e.g. ISTQB.
Experience in performing full end-to-end testing.
Exposure to automation testing with a willingness to learn and develop further in this area.
Working knowledge of software development/testing tools e.g., Jira and Confluence.
Experience working in an Agile delivery environment is a plus.
Domain insurance experience is also a big plus.
