You will create original prints, patterns, and textures, incorporating various techniques and experimenting with color palettes, materials, and finishes to achieve desired aesthetic effects.
In this role, you will stay up-to-date with the latest fashion and textile trends by researching design platforms, industry publications, and analyzing market data. You will identify emerging trends and translate them into innovative and marketable designs.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Design Development: Conceptualize and develop themes, concepts, and mood boards after analyzing trends for woven fabrics.
• Trend & Fabric Analysis: Stay up-to-date with the latest fashion and textile trends by researching design platforms, industry publications, and analyzing market data.
• Troubleshoot design and production issues, and implement solutions to achieve desired outcomes.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of proven experience in textile design, preferably in the woven fabric industry.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other relevant design software.
