HARAKH New York is looking for a Textile Designer to develop innovative fabrics for our luxury handbag collection.
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile or Fashion Design
• Strong knowledge of regional Indian crafts
• Understanding of weaving and handloom techniques
• Ability to create and mix colors
• Proficiency in sketching
• Passion for accessories
• Good in handloom weaving
• Self-sample development expertise

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, NIFT/ FIT, or related field
• Strong knowledge of weaving, handloom, and fabric construction
• Well-versed in regional Indian crafts and heritage textiles
• Proficiency in sketching, drawing, and design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop)
• Strong sense of color, texture, and material innovation
• Passion for accessories and luxury craftsmanship
• 1–3 years of relevant industry experience (internships/fresh graduates with strong portfolios also considered)
