JOB BRIEF: He/ She might work on new products or improve existing ones, and use your understanding of technology, materials and manufacturing methods to improve the design and usability of an item.
• Skills:
- He/She will need to have _potential to understand the form, shape, size, packaging etc. And also who is comfortable in material sourcing, market survey and public dealing.
- knowledge of industrial processes, techniques and standards
- the ability to cope with the pressure of deadlines
• _The work involves:_
- Designing
- modelling
- producing prototypes
- Testing
- Printing
- Software Skills: 3dmax, Maya, Photoshop, Illustrator, Coral Draw etc.
• Responsibilities:
- Meeting with CPO & DM to establish the design brief, including the concept, performance and production criteria.
- Working on ideas as part of a team or developing design concepts
- Sketch initial design ideas.
- Identifying the suitability and availability of materials.
- Researching materials, processes or market requirements.
• Working hours
Working hours are typically 10am to 7.30pm but the role requires a flexible attitude as extra hours may be needed in order to meet deadlines or to resolve design
