Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) for Hindi to join our teaching team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Hindi to middle and secondary school students, fostering a love for the language, and helping students develop their reading, writing, and speaking skills in Hindi. The candidate should be able to engage students through creative teaching methods and ensure academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning and Delivery:
Prepare and deliver well-structured lessons in Hindi based on the prescribed curriculum.
Design lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
Incorporate various teaching techniques and resources, including technology, to make lessons interactive and engaging.
Ensure lessons align with the academic goals and objectives set by the curriculum.
Student Development:
Facilitate the development of students' proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in Hindi.
Provide individual and group support to students, encouraging active participation.
Assess students' progress through regular quizzes, assignments, and written examinations.
Offer constructive feedback to students and guide them in areas of improvement.
Create a nurturing environment that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and self-expression.
Classroom Management:
Maintain discipline in the classroom and manage student behavior effectively.
Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom culture.
Ensure that students are engaged and motivated throughout the lesson.
Promote respect and mutual understanding among students.
Assessment and Feedback:
Regularly assess students' performance through formal and informal assessments.
Provide detailed feedback to students and parents about their progress and areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student achievements.
Communication with Parents:
Keep parents informed about their child’s progress and any concerns related to academic performance or behavior.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student development and work collaboratively with parents to address student needs.
Collaboration and Professional Development:
Collaborate with fellow teachers to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development programs.
Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, Hindi language trends, and curriculum changes.
School Activities:
Participate in extracurricular activities related to Hindi language and culture, such as language competitions, cultural events, and literary festivals.
Contribute to school-wide initiatives and activities that promote the Hindi language and Indian culture.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hindi (B.A. Hindi) from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching qualification.
