Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated TGT Marathi Teacher to teach Marathi language to students of Grades VI to X as per the prescribed curriculum. The candidate should be committed to creating an engaging learning environment and fostering language proficiency, literature appreciation, and effective communication skills among students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Marathi language and literature to middle and secondary school students (Grades VI–X).
• Develop lesson plans in alignment with school curriculum and board guidelines (CBSE as applicable).
• Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct regular evaluations, tests, and examinations.
• Maintain student records and provide academic feedback to parents.
• Encourage reading, writing, and spoken Marathi proficiency.
• Organize literary activities such as debates, elocution, storytelling, and cultural programs.
• Manage classroom discipline and create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school events.
• Support overall student development and mentor students when required.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree with Marathi as a main/optional subject.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized university.
• TET/CTET qualification (preferred/mandatory as per board norms).
• Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience (preferred).
Required Skills & Competencies:
• Strong command over Marathi grammar and literature.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage students through innovative teaching methods.
• Patience, creativity, and student-centric approach.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, online teaching tools).
Salary:
As per school norms and experience.
Working Days & Timings:
As per school schedule.
