Academic Coordinator / Principal
Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality instruction in alignment with the Cambridge curriculum, fostering an engaging and challenging learning environment for students in the subject area of TGT Social.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver lessons as per Cambridge International curriculum guidelines.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments aligned with Cambridge standards.
• Track and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Create an engaging, inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry-based learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents and provide feedback on student performance.
• Participate in school activities, events, and professional development sessions.
• Ensure adherence to school policies and safeguarding practices.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in relevant subject area or Education.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory for teaching positions).
• Experience in Cambridge International Curriculum (Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE, AS & A Level) preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in an international school setting.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of Cambridge curriculum framework.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to use technology for effective teaching and learning.
• Collaborative and flexible attitude towards teaching and school activities.
