A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Theatre Team Lead in Wellington. Step into this dynamic role, overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of the surgical team. You will play a pivotal role in guiding and managing a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care, all while ensuring smooth workflow and fostering a positive and collaborative environment.

Lead and manage the theatre team to ensure efficient clinical operations

What you need to do:
Lead and mentor a team of nurses and theatre staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain seamless surgical operations
Uphold best practice standards in clinical care and patient safety
Adapt to the changing needs of the business while fostering a positive team culture
What you need to have:
Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
Minimum 5 years of surgical nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role
Leadership experience, including team management, performance coaching, and supporting staff development
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the evolving needs of the theatre and patient care
Postgraduate qualification in nursing or a related field is advantageous
