Tidal+ takes great pride in working with our local community to ensure quality and dependability, and serve fresh sea & farm –to-table dishes to our guests.
Our Bartenders are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations. The right person should be familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment, and sanitation standards, with a focus on maintaining an attractive bar. This position offers opportunity for casual conversation, creativity and allows for building on one’s style and previous bartending experiences. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable, personable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Preferred candidates will have understanding of state and local serving guidelines.
In addition, this individual will also be scheduled as a Tidal+ Restaurant Server when business levels allow. Our Servers are responsible for submitting guest menu selections and presenting these food and beverages preferences. Here, you will gain knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine and drink offerings, create the restaurant experience for our guests, and support the Tidal+ Operations.
Responsibilities to include:
Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including cocktails, beer and wine with precision and efficiency.
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized bar and restaurant area, restocking supplies as needed.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation to ensure the well-being of our guests and team members
Assist in training new team members and maintaining high standards of service excellence
The hourly rate for this position is $17.13/hour to $19.99/hour. When scheduled to work as a server, this position offers $17.13/hour. The starting rate for the primary position of bartender, is $19.60/hour. This position also has an established rate for colleagues who have remained in the bartender position for four years or more with Hyatt, which is currently offered to those who are at a Full-Time status at $19.99/hour.
This position earns additional compensation from gratuities and tips given at the guest’s discretion to the Tidal+ serving team, as well as service charges on applicable orders.

Qualifications
Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant or bar
Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, including classic cocktails and current trends
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with guests and colleagues alike
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight throughout shift
MAST and Food Handler's Cards required
