Job summary: We are seeking a result-oriented Team Leader – Health Insurance Sales to manage and drive a team of sales executives. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, a solid understanding of sales processes, and the ability to consistently achieve targets while maintaining high standards of customer engagement and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of health insurance sales executives
- Drive team performance to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor daily sales activities and provide structured feedback and coaching
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members
- Support the team in closing complex or high-value sales
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain and strengthen customer relationships
- Track and analyze team performance metrics and prepare reports
- Ensure effective usage and discipline of CRM systems for lead management, follow-ups, and reporting
Skills Required
- Proven experience in sales with a track record of target achievement
- Solid leadership and team management skills
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in using CRM tools for pipeline management and reporting
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a performance-driven environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience (Health Insurance/BFSI preferred)
- Prior team handling experience is an advantage
