TCS IS HIRING FOR Tomcat administration Role: Tomcat administration Experience Range : 7-15 yrs(Relevant) Location: Kolkata/Hyderabad/Chennai/Pune/Gurgaon/Bangalore JD: Must-Have: Required Technical Skill Set: • 7+ years of practical Support and troubleshooting, administration, JVMs and their performance enhancements. • Experience in any APM based Applications and/or batch monitoring tools. • Experience with SOA and OSB Real-time Messaging platforms. • Ability to make recommendations review design documents of applications. • Extensive experience using JEE, Design Patterns, JMS, SAML, SOAP / REST Web Services. • JVM Controller configuration. • Deployment and troubleshooting of JAR, WAR, and EAR files in domain and clustered environments. • Cluster Configuration Single Cluster, Multiple Clusters and Deployment over clusters. • Server Performance Tuning - Thread Dump Analysis, Core Dump Analysis when Server crashed unevenly. • Creating security roles, group policy, user authentication, auditing and authorization. • Work on Web Security tools- LDAP Server, SSL Certificates and client authentication. • Configuring digital certificates, using java key tool for secured applications. • Automation of domain creation using WLST, ANT, and Domain Templates. • Configuring Web Logic Plug-ins for Apache Web Server and configured load balancing and fail-over solutions. • Analyzing the Log Files, Thread Dumps, JVM Dumps, Exception Stack Traces. • Monitoring thread usage, connection pool usage, CPU usage, Memory usage and preparing reports for the performance tests, dry run tests and load tests conducted on the Application Servers. • Unix/RHEL command line usage and shell scripting. • Mandatory Skills : Tomcat, inux/Unix, Apache, ITIL Must-Have: • Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. • understanding of data privacy standards, integrity and honesty. • Ability to communicate with management, and be able to work under pressure • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong planning, organization and project management skills • Independent and meticulous with attention to details • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software. • Ability to execute multiple tasks at the same time • Flexible to work during week-ends. • Proactive execution of priorities and goals • Effective prioritization skills and high energy • Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology operations environment. Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role: 1 .Conduct performance analysis, perform fine tuning and produce issue RCA report 2 .Interface with vendors to co-ordinate software and hardware problem resolution. 3 .Provide technical support to both Application Support team and data center operation personnel. 4 .Ensuring security & compliant requirements are met, secure checks validation and perform Risk analysis and MCA. 5 .Collaborate and work to develop technical solutions, plans and configuration, in response to requirements from Business and Application teams. 6 .Apply new technology and process to improve system operation, supportability, recoverability, availability and performance.
