The role involves providing front-to-back exposure to the trade life cycle of Fixed Income products, including trade capture, trade support, sales support, trade allocation, settlements, reconciliations, and interest claims.
Responsibilities
• Understanding trade flow to review fails management risk and fails cost implications
• Investigating the validity of claim rates and amount calculations
• Demonstrating ability to investigate and resolve aged trade exceptions and partner with clients, sales, and trading teams
• Effectively engaging with the front office to ensure smooth client trade claim processing
• Identifying and partnering with middle office teams to resolve aged client claims
• Interacting with client custodians, back-office, and middle-office teams to identify issues, challenges, disputes, and taking appropriate corrective action
• Demonstrating strong efficiency focus to reduce manual processing and improve straight-through-processing (STP)
