Position Title: Technician
Reports to: Program Manager
Location: Mountain View, CA
Employment Status: Full-Time
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary: Aldevra is seeking a Technician to support facility operations and maintenance under the Area Facility Operations Support Services contract for the 63d Readiness Division (RD). The Technician will assist with general facility maintenance, equipment inspections, and repairs, ensuring compliance with government safety and operational standards. This role requires hands-on problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while supporting multiple facilities.
We will provide training, but the ideal candidate will already align with our core values of SOAR (Strong Integrity and Ethics, Outstanding Teamwork, Accountability-Driven and Relentless Pursuit of Quality).
This position is contingent upon contract award.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment, buildings, and systems.
• Assist with facility repairs, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and government regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service reports.
• Support inventory management of tools, materials, and replacement parts.
• Respond to work orders and troubleshoot operational issues.
• All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Security Requirements:
• Must be able to obtain NACI and CAC clearance.
Workplace Safety and Environment:
This position is based in an office environment, primarily involving computer work, meetings, and collaboration with team members.
This position requires passing an extensive background check.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, repairs, or operations.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or general building maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Travel required within a seven-state region; may need to be available after hours as needed.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner.
• Excellent and accurate written communication.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems; online calendars and cloud systems; intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products required.
• Excellent attention to detail; accurate data entry.
• Customer-focused and team-oriented work ethic.
• Able to multi-task efficiently and accurately, focusing on quality.
