Trailer Mechanic
Third Shift - $23-27/hr
Job Description
We are a leading third-party logistics provider offering award-winning domestic and international supply chain solutions to customers from various industries. We are seeking a skilled mechanic to provide onsite repair services for a major distribution center.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical trailer-related issues using standard testing procedures and computer diagnostic equipment such as JPRO, OEM Diagnostic Software, Multimeters, and Windows.
Perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of trailers.
Conduct welding and fabrication as needed on trailer equipment.
Perform DOT inspections in accordance with FMSCA guidelines.
Be physically capable of performing all job duties, including lifting and/or pulling 75 lbs or more without restriction, standing or lying for extended periods, and having flexible movement to reach equipment.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years of mechanical assembly repair experience.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Mechanically inclined.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with troubleshooting, brake repair, preventive maintenance, hydraulics, blueprints, schematics, truck repair, and fleet maintenance.
Proficiency in welding, sheet metal work, and diesel mechanics.

Work Environment
This position is for the 3rd shift, with working hours from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM. You will work on either Shift 1 (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) or Shift 2 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday). Our facility is equipped with the latest technologies and tools necessary for performing high-quality repairs and maintenance. The work environment requires adherence to safety standards, and the dress code is appropriate for a mechanic role.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
