A unique opportunity has become available at Razzamataz Theatre Schools Sheffield for the right candidate to join the team of teachers and assistants as a trainee Singing Teacher / Vocal Coach. Successful candidates will be overflowing with energy and have a passion for inspiring the next generation of performers. They will also be organised, good communicators and great team players.
Razzamataz are looking for someone who has experience with singing but wants to gain experience in a teaching environment, shadowing an experienced teacher and taking on their own classes in time. Initially working with ages 9-11.
Experience teaching/working with children is not necessary as full training will be provided but a natural affinity with children and a desire to work with them in a fun and creative environment is essential.
We are an award winning theatre school providing training in dance, drama and singing in both musical theatre and commercial styles to children aged 2-18 years. We aim to develop a child's confidence whilst they learn new skills, make new friends and have fun in a safe and secure environment. Classes are held at Meadowhead School, Dyche Lane, Sheffield, S8 8BR on Saturdays during term time 8.55-4.30pm, hours will be within these times and consist of 2 hours teaching 2.30-4.30pm with an additional 2 hours of shadowing our singing team. Piano playing / reading music is not required.
