Role name:
Training assistant
Role:
The training assistant is a junior role in the ITP academy. He or she performs operational tasks, such as producing training materials, maintaining knowledge platforms, organising training events, hosting and conducting training events.
Career development: trainer / senior trainer / training coordinator
Tasks:
§ Outline storyboards for learning videos
§ Produce, cut and maintain learning videos
§ Develop gamified activities for online materials (e.g. in PowerApps)
§ Set up, develop and maintain SharePoint knowledge portals
§ Publish online training materials
§ Produce and maintain online manuals
§ Provide support with organising training events
§ Facilitate training events
§ Provide training, act as a trainer
§ Do marketing for training events
§ Provide support with evaluating training
Responsibilities:
§ Ensures the lifecycle of training materials and knowledge portals in close collaboration with the ITP academy (training materials and portals are up-to-date)
Education:
§ Bachelor’s degree in computer application, education or social sciences, preferably education (> 2 / < 5 years of experience)
Area of expertise and skills:
§ High affinity with IT systems and applications (e.g. SAP ERP / Adobe RoboHelp / Adobe Captivate / Camtasia / Microsoft Power Tools / MS SharePoint)
§ Basis knowledge project management
§ Process and problem-solving orientated thinking
§ Analytical thinking
§ Good organisational skills
§ Highly interested in further education in the area of training development and training facilitation
§ Good command of English (spoken and written)
§ Good communication skills
Personal qualities:
§ Secure in his/her ability to communicate and present
§ Acts as a service provider
§ Collaborates well in intercultural teams
§ High awareness of intercultural differences
§ Open-minded
§ Highly committed to quality
§ Preparedness for continuing education
