The Training & Operations Specialist ensures positive and effective experiences for new employees & is responsible in the delivery of training to both new & existing employees via classroom and online methods. Communicates across multiple teams to identify training needs and inform development plans. Maintains high level of employee skill & knowledge at all times
ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Design, develop & implement training programs in order to maximize the learner experience and accomplish learning & development initiatives
Develop training plans and ensure timely completion of Training
Build & Maintain procedure documents
Build quarterly & annual training programs
Ensure a positive learner experience through excellent training programs. Manage all supplies and resources for trainees, create and maintain a proper schedule for each training program
Assist in the ongoing improvement of training methods and activities, including participant materials, content solutions, learning material
Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills
Tailor specific training programs to employee growth, retainment & career path assistance
Identify and implement process improvement/enhancement ideas
Conduct regular process audits, share feedback & develop action plans
Demonstrate Efficient Change Management Skills
Create a healthy and motivating work environment and atmosphere
Be self-motivated and results oriented.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including both in presentation and personal interaction
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and to create training presentations
Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals and groups
Prior teaching/training experience preferred
Advanced Excel and other database management skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Able to prioritize, multitask and recognize the importance of deadlines
Proven literacy in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Works with minimum supervision and makes independent judgments
Proven skill working in a team environment with various personality types
Ability to relate well, build consensus and show respect and consideration for others
Strong teamwork orientation
Must be able to work under broadly defined policies and achieve stated goals
Demonstrate the ability and desire to provide excellent training
Be extremely inquisitive and a quick learner.
Identify opportunities for training program improvement
Design, prepare, and procure educational aids and resources
Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills
Capture and analyze feedback from trainees, and departmental managers leading to consistent improvement of L&D programs
Lead and provide training and assistance to the Level I, & II positions
Help maintain employee Skills and Knowledge
Demonstrates the highest quality of customer service and interacts effectively
Identify Process Improvement and Coaching Opportunities
Monitor the functional quality and performance metrics
Observe employee work performance and methods
Offer process improvement recommendations and work with others to implement
Design and develop system improvements based on observation and experiences
Requirements
Requires any Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or education.
4+ years relevant process training experience required. For internal candidates, the experience can be a combination of internal and external experience.
Completed professional training in a relevant business field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
