Job purpose
Training Supervisor works in production to deliver processing training to employees and oversee Packing Hall Trainers.
Duties and Responsibilities
The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:
Prepare and deliver training modules as per the requirement.
Deploy a wide variety of training methods.
Track employee performance and progress.
Conduct effective induction and hands-on training sessions.
Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them.
Participate in training content development to meet company needs.
Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary.
Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.
Manage the onboarding records and the training follow up questionnaires.
Constantly communicate with the Packing Hall trainers for ongoing projects and new projects.
Acts with integrity and protect sensitive data confidentiality.
Issue disciplinary action when needed.
Competency checks performed for all processing employees on a weekly basis.
Self-Improvement in all areas of processing when no training is required.
Advanced knowledge of Packing Hall.
Perform other assigned duties.
Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Proven experience as training supervisor or similar.
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc).
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
Capability to produce reports and presentations for senior leadership when needed.
Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
Expertise in Excel and MS office.
Capability to work flexible schedule and overtime across all shifts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working conditions
Always work indoors.
Compliant with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting and temperature.
Physical requirements
Standing involved.
May repeat the same movement.
Often wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, steel toed safety shoes/boots and beard nets.
Ability to bend or twist their body.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
