Job Description
Hello interested Candidates, we are the LAX Transit Mechanic team and we are looking for someone who will work night shifts and or weekend day shifts (Thursday-Sunday). We have gone through a bit of fine tuning and renovating in our shop and are in need of a skilled mechanic. We are currently a very small team so you will be a part of a new building up and organizing of a shop. (our focus is Eldorado, Newflyer and electric buses)
Job description:
• you will be working on Transit Buses used at the LAX Airport
• Service and Diagnosing
• CNG inspections (if you don't have this we will pay for schooling to have it)
What you need to bring to the Table:
• A good understanding of basic mechanics and service
• A good understanding on diagnosing a Vehicle
• Respect
• Good work ethics and determination
• At least 2 years experience with working on transit buses
What to expect:
We are all in the same boat while working, so that means our common goal is to make the customer happy and deliver quality.
We will take the time to teach you what you need to know, and provide you the courses or schooling that will sharpen you and benefit us in our company.
Something important to us is good communication, respect, being on time, and wanting to learn.
You will be required to have a passenger endorsement class B drivers license which we will pay for after you have passed the test.
