About the role
Internally known as, a Transport Operations Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing logistics support and managing day to day administration, including co-ordinating and resolving enquiries and communicating responses in line with service level agreements for the program.
You will have a focus on providing exceptional customer service to our stores, suppliers and carriers. You will provide support to ensure our service offer is being met by providers and assist with financial analysis of accounts, carrier invoice vetting and transaction analysis.
This role will be based out of our Rhodes Support Office, working in line with our hybrid working approach.
What's involved:
Ensure carrier compliance with applicable laws and regulations across transportation activities and review safety related incidents to ensure action plans are implemented
Investigate, resolve queries received from Stores, Suppliers and Carriers within KPI expectations and communicate resolution in a timely manner
Work closely with State Transport Carrier Operations Leaders to foster and action continuous improvement initiatives
Identify and optimise transportation costs associated with Carrier services by conducting regular cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions
Who we’re looking for
You will bring experience in transport operations or customer service, coupled with well developed administration and organisation skills. You will thrive working in a fast paced environment, where you are able to interact with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external.
You will have a passion for customer service and a high level of attention to detail with the ability to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.
You’ll need:
Demonstrated experience in query triage, resolution and communication ideally across transport or supply chain for example within customer service, call centre or allocation environment
Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal
Good computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office programs
Experience utilising ERP systems or ticketing systems such as ServiceNow would be highly advantageous
Ability to plan and prioritise own workload effectively
Understanding of transport legislation and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) would be highly regarded
Tertiary education in Business or Supply Chain disciplines preferred
