An Employee Transport Operations Specialist manages daily employee commuting, optimizing routes, ensuring safety compliance, and overseeing vendor performance (cabs/buses). Core Responsibilities
• Operations Management: Develop and execute employee transportation strategies, including route optimization for efficiency.
• Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all vehicles and drivers comply with safety regulations, company policies, and statutory norms.
• Rostering & Scheduling: Coordinate daily transport schedules, shift timings, and ad-hoc booking requests.
• Data Analysis: Use transportation management systems (TMS) or ERPs to analyze metrics, identify bottlenecks, and improve operational performance.
• Issue Resolution: Act as the primary contact for resolving employee complaints, vendor issues, and emergencies.
• Reporting: Prepare reports on transportation costs, utilization rates, and service quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or employee transportation services.
• Proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP tools, and MS Excel.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
