Responsibilities
• Provide skilled nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a teaching hospital environment
• Utilize Cerner EMR to document and manage patient care effectively
• Participate in ongoing education and mentorship, including working with nursing students
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, including appearance and onboarding deadlines
Qualifications & Desired Experience
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in accordance with state regulations
• Minimum of 2 years CORE clinical experience in Emergency Nursing at a Level 1 Trauma center
• Prior travel nursing experience in ED or Neuro ICU settings required
• Cerner EMR proficiency essential
• Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam completion within 48 hours prior to assignment acceptance
• Adherence to facility appearance standards (no facial piercings, natural hair colors)
• Must own reliable transportation (teams excluded from Cath Lab)
Schedule & Contract Details
• Travel assignment, minimum 13-week commitment
• Orientation weekly on Mondays (except holiday weeks)
• No concurrent contracts permitted with this facility or its affiliates
