Job Description
A travel opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Interventional Radiology (IR) skills specializing in Vascular procedures. This role offers an engaging 8-hour day shift schedule, 5 days per week, totaling 40 hours. The position includes on-call rotation approximately one week every three weeks for vascular interventions.

Responsibilities:
• Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology and vascular procedures, including pulmonary embolism (PE) management.
• Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team within the vascular and IR departments.
• Participate in on-call rotation for vascular emergencies, responding promptly to urgent needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within electronic health records, including Epic.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• 2+ years of nursing experience, including documented travel nursing experience.
• Proven expertise in Interventional Radiology, Peripheral Vascular, and Vascular procedures, with at least one completed travel contract.
• Certifications required: CPR, ACLS.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system preferred.
• Strong clinical skills in managing vascular patient care and emergencies.
Schedule:
• 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week (40 hours total).
• On-call rotation approximately every third week with a $10 per hour on-call bill rate; 2-hour minimum call-back.
• No weekend shifts required except when on call.
• Holidays as needed.
This is a travel nurse position with an anticipated start date within 2-3 weeks or as soon as possible. Orientation can begin any day of the week.
